The highlight of the trip includes a rare viewing of one of the world’s largest palm species in bloom.
Not only boasting views of natural arches and sunsets over Arecibo, Taino petroglyphs line the walls of Cueva del Indio on Puerto Rico’s northern coast.
Puerto Rico’s highest mountain town, Arecibo, truly blossoms the last weekend of June through the first weekend of July. This small town in the Cayey Mountains is home to an annual flower festival locally known as Festival de las Flores.
An evening aboard the East Island Excursion’s power catamaran, Island Flyer, was a blast! A wonderful dinner, unlimited rum, and a swim in Puerto Rico’s best bioluminescent bay were all part of the schedule.
